Room to Breathe is a photo-duplicate cleanup app. It has no servers, no user accounts, no analytics and no advertising, and it compares your photos on your own device.

What Room to Breathe accesses

With your permission, Room to Breathe reads your Photos library to scan for near-duplicate and similar photos, and to delete only the photos you choose to remove.

What Room to Breathe does with that access

All photo scanning, comparison and scoring is performed locally on your device.

Room to Breathe has no servers and no account system, and the app itself makes no internet requests.

Your photos, filenames, metadata and usage data are never uploaded to Room to Breathe. There are no Room to Breathe servers to receive them.

If an original photo is stored in iCloud rather than locally on your iPhone, iOS may download it from your own iCloud Photos library through Apple's Photos framework so Room to Breathe can compare it locally on your device. This transfer is between your device and Apple's iCloud service. Room to Breathe does not receive or store a copy.

Room to Breathe contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code, and no third-party SDKs or package dependencies.

Deleting photos in Room to Breathe uses Apple's Photos framework directly. Photos you choose to delete are moved to your device's Recently Deleted album, just as when deleting photos through Apple's Photos app.

Data retention

Room to Breathe does not collect or store information about you or your photos on external servers.

The app does not maintain an account, cloud database or remote copy of your photo library.

Children's privacy

Room to Breathe does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children, because the app does not collect personal data.

Changes to this policy

If Room to Breathe's data practices change, this privacy policy will be updated to reflect those changes.
